THE DOG AND THE BONE :

IMG_20181001_200509

ONCE A STRAY DOG WHILE SEARCHING FOR FOOD CAME TO A BUTCHER’S SHOP. THERE HE GOT A BONE WITH SOME MEAT ON IT. SO , HE LIFTED IT AND RAN TO A SAFE PLACE TO ENJOY IT AT EASE .

HE CHEWED THE BONE FOR A VERY LONG TIME AND THIS MADE HIM QUITE THIRSTY . SO , HE WENT TO A RIVER TO QUENCH HIS THIRST .

IMG_20181001_200551

IT TOOK THE BONE ALONG , AS IT WAS WORRIED THAT SOME OTHER DOG MIGHT NOT TAKE IT AWAY .

IT WAS WANDERING HERE AND THERE TO KEEP THE BONE SAFE . DURING THAT TIME IT WALKED OVER THE BRIDGE SEARCHING FOR THE SAFE PLACE .

BY CHANCE , HE SAW HIS REFLECTION IN THE WATER FROM OVER THE BRIDGE . HE SCARED AND RAN AWAY THOUGHT THAT ANOTHER DOG WAS THERE IN THE RIVER . HE COULD NOT FOLLOW THAT IT WAS HIS SHADOW . RATHER , HE THOUGHT IT TO BE ANOTHER DOG WITH A BONE IN HIS MOUTH.

IMG_20181001_200626.jpg

BEING GREEDY BY NATURE , HE WANTED THAT BONE TOO . SO , HE BARKED AT THE OTHER DOG THAT IS HIS REFLECTION HPOING TO SCARE IT INTO GIVING IT THAT BONE.

BUT ALAS ! THE BONE THAT HE HELD IN ITS MOUTH FELL INTO THE RIVER . NOW HE LOST ONE AND ONLY BONE WHICH HE THOUGHT OF KEEP SAFELY . HE FELT VERY SAD .

COOKERY SECTION : CHOCOLATE RAINBOW BALLS.

Hi all,

New recipe: “CHOCOLATE RAINBOW BALLS”

PREPARING TIME : 15  MINUTES

TOTAL TIME : 25 MINUTES

RECIPE TYPE : DESSERT

SERVES : 12 BALLS

  • USE MARIE LIGHT BISCUITS OR YOU CAN USE ANY OTHER BISCUITS ALSO .
  • USE BROWN SUGAR OR YOU CAN USE REGULAR SUGAR
  • USE CHOCOLATE SYRUP OR COCOA MIXTURE.

HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE SYRUP IN HOME ?

TAKE ANY TYPE OF CHOCOLATES AND HEAT THEM IN A PAN . AFTER HEATING LET IT COOL FOR 10 MINUTES , NEXT YOU CAN USE IT FOR THE RECIPE .

  • MILK {DEPENDING UPON THE INGREDIENTS QUANTITY}
  • VANILLA IS OPTIONAL
  • BUTTER 5 TBSP OR 7 TBSP. BUTTER IS VERY FATTY INGREDIENT SO USE 4-5 TBSP .

RECIPE NOTES:

  1. I’D SUGGEST ADDING LESSER MILK AND THEN ADDING MORE IF THE MIXTURE IS TOO THICK
  2. IF YOU ADD VANILLA THE DESSERT TASTES MORE DELICIOUS.
  3. I FOUND THAT THIS QUANTITY OF MILK MADE MY BISCUIT MIXTURE A BIT TOO SOFT TO SHAPE AND HAD TO ADD A COUPLE OF BISCUITS CRUSHED.

INGRIDIENTS NEEDED:

  • 20 OR 30 DIGESTIVE BISCUITS
  • VANILLA [ OPTIONAL ]
  • 1-2 TBSP CHOCOLATE SYRUP OR COCOA POWDER
  • HALF CUP MILK
  • BUTTER 5 TBSP AT ROOM TEMPARATURE
  • SPRINKLES

SPRINKLES LIST

  1. GRATED COCONUT
  2. SWEET STUFF LIKE SUGAR
  3. CHOCOLATE RICE SPRINKLES

STEPS:

  • MIX THE BUTTER , VANILLA [ OPTIONAL ] AND SUGAR UNTIL CREAMY .
  • ADD CHOCOLATE SYRUP , SUGAR , MILK . MIX WELL WITHOUT ANY LUMPS .
  • SMALL MIXIE JAR . COARSELY POWDER THE BISCUITS .
  • ADD THE POWDERED BISCUITS TO THE BUTTER-SUGAR-CHOCOLATE MIXTURE AND STIR.
  • MIX UNTIL THE PIECES OF BISCUITS BLEND INTO COCOA MIXTURE.
  • YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SHAPE THEM INTO SMALL BALLS NOW. IF NOT ADD MORE BISCUITS POWDER.
  • SHAPE INTO BALLS AND COAT WITH SPRIKLESOR ANY OTHER OPTIONS LISTED ABOVE]
  • REFRIGRATE UNTIL READY TO SERVE.
